The Traveling Wilburys were one of the most talent-packed supergroups in Rock & Roll History:

George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne & drummer Jim Keltner.

Sadly, the irony came with Roy, whose career was revitalized by the group, only to reach the end of his line before he could truly enjoy it. He passed away before he could even appear in the video.

The message of the song is also ironic in this case: No matter where you are on your journey to the End of the Line, it’s all right–because you still have something to say.

The song reached #2 on Billboard’s Rock Chart, and remains a lasting tribute to everyone involved.”
