Festival of Toys
The annual Festival of Toys gives Chippewa Valley children in need a happy holiday, with help from the community through donations of new, unwrapped toys, as well as monetary donations!
You can donate new, unwrapped toys at these locations:
- Festival Foods Stores in Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls
- LE Phillips Senior Center – 1616 Bellinger St – Eau Claire
All donations collected will be distributed to Families in need by Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley with some additional help from Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, Spirit of Christmas, and Jason’s Presents.

Mid-West Family Gives Thanks
Thursday, November 25th at 10am: This Thanksgiving the stations of Mid-West Family Eau Claire are once again teaming up with HyVee to give thanks and give turkeys to our friends and neighbors in need.
Starting at 10am on Tuesday, November 25th, we will be handing out free turkeys to those in need, no questions asked (while supplies last).
If you would like to donate to help us feed even more families, you can stop into Hy-Vee on Friday, November 21st between 6am and 1pm for our donation drive.
Veterans Day Benefit Concert
Sunday, November 9th at 3pm: Spirit Lutheran Church in Eau Claire welcomes you to enjoy an evening of music celebrating the seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas – with a special salute to our U.S. Military veterans in honor of Veterans Day. Proceeds to benefit the Salvation Army of the Chippewa Valley (minimum donation: $10)
Helpful Hearts Foundation Designer Purse Bingo
Sunday, September 28th Helpful Hearts Presents: Designer Purse Bingo! Doors open at noon, bingo starts at 1pm, at Westgate Sportsman Club in Eau Claire.
This is your chance at snagging a designer purse and other excellent prizes. Seats are limited, this event WILL SELL OUT. Proceeds benefit the Helpful Hearts Foundation, a local non-profit that assists deserving families in our area who could not otherwise give a proper funeral to a loved one.
Bingo packets can be purchased for $40. Table reservations available for groups of 6 or more for an additional $10. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Boys & Girls Club Lemonade Day
Thursday, August 7th – Support your local Boys & Girls Club on Lemonade Day!
In addition to raising funds and awareness for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Lemonade Day is an event where kids learn about becoming an entrepreneur and the importance of marketing, financial literacy, customer service, joint ventures & more. By participating in Lemonade Day, you can make their members “business” a success!

Eau Freedom Fun Run & Fest
Wednesday, July 16th: Eau Freedom Fun Run and Fest is a family-friendly summer event to raise awareness and funds for the work of Fierce Freedom. Fierce Freedom is a 501c3 organization dedicated to protecting and empowering young people and vulnerable individuals in our community, facilitating collective impact to end the cycle of human trafficking.
Eau Freedom will include a fun run, which requires registration. Other activities at the festival will include food trucks, music, prizes, children’s activities, a creation station, a Fierce Friends area highlighting community resources with complementary aims, a Fierce Freedom education area and a special program at 7:00 p.m. featuring the The Jam. Join us to run, walk, volunteer for justice!
Garding Against Cancer Golf Outing
Friday June 20th, 11am – 4pm: The Garding Against Cancer Golf Outing is coming to Hickory Hills Golf Course in Eau claire. Bid on silent auction items like a kayak, Brewers and Badgers Tickets, plus golf packages, jewelry and more.
Even if you’re not golfing–you are welcome to stop by for 15 minutes or all 5 hours! Proceeds go directly to Cancer Research through UW Health Carbone Cancer Center in Madison.
